ePRO Configuration
Assign published forms as ePRO instruments with study, visit, or subject scope and advisory or blocking completion

Open this route from the study sidebar (ePRO Configuration).
Purpose
This page is where Clinical Study Manager assigns published forms as ePRO instruments for an active research study. Each assignment sets scope (whole study, a workflow visit milestone, or one subject) and whether completion is advisory or blocking for clinician capture when due.
What you can do
- Add an ePRO assignment from a published form
- Choose scope: study-wide, a workflow visit, or an individual subject
- Choose completion mode: Advisory or Blocking
- Browse existing assignments (form title, mode badge, and scope label)
- Edit or remove an assignment from its row menu
- On draft, paused, or closed studies, read why configuration is unavailable until the study is active
Permissions
Page access — Requires a signed-in user with access to Clinical Study Manager and a research study on the active license. Opening ePRO Configuration is not gated by a catalog permission; adding, editing, and removing assignments are.

Header
Title ePRO Configuration with a short description. When the study is active, Add ePRO assignment appears in the header (disabled without Manage ePRO Assignments).
Form assignments
Section listing current assignments with a count badge. Each row shows the form title, an Advisory or Blocking badge, the scope label, and a menu to Edit assignment or Remove assignment. An empty state explains how to add the first assignment.
Inactive study
When the study is not active, the header still shows ePRO Configuration, and the content explains that configuration is available after activation, with the current status.
