Study Action Needed — work open EDC queries and unreviewed fields, then open the workspace to resolve them

Open this route from the study sidebar (Action Needed). The older path /study/[id]/edc/query-overview redirects here.
Purpose
This page is the study work queue in Clinical Study Manager for follow-up on finalized EDC capture. Use it to browse open (and optionally answered or closed) queries across sites, and to clear unreviewed EDC field rows by marking them reviewed or opening the EDC workspace.
What you can do
- Switch between Open Queries and Unreviewed Data
- On Open Queries, filter by site and by query status (Open, Answered, Closed)
- See open, answered, and closed query counts while on Open Queries
- Browse the query list (Subject ID, Visit, Field, Source, and Site ID when more than one site appears)
- Open a query’s EDC workspace when you have permission
- On Unreviewed Data, review unreviewed captured fields, mark a field reviewed, or open its workspace
- Page through either list when there are more rows than fit on one page
EDC views on this page are available for active studies only. Draft, paused, or closed studies show that EDC is unavailable.
Permissions
Page access — Requires a signed-in user with access to Clinical Study Manager, a research study on the active license, and View Query Overview. Without that permission, the page shows an access-denied message.

Marking a field reviewed from Unreviewed Data is available to sponsor users on this page and is not gated by a separate catalog permission.

Header
Title Action Needed with a short description. On the Open Queries tab, site and status filters appear in the header, plus open / answered / closed count chips.
Tabs
Open Queries (default) and Unreviewed Data. Filters and count chips apply only to Open Queries.
Open Queries
A study-wide list of DM and SM queries (default: open and answered; include Closed via the status filter). Empty states explain when there are no queries yet, when only closed queries exist, or when filters match nothing. Rows can open the related EDC workspace when View EDC Workspace is granted.
Unreviewed Data
A table of captured EDC fields that still need review (Subject ID, optional Site ID, Visit, Field, Value, Captured at). Mark a field reviewed from the row, or open the workspace. An empty state appears when nothing is waiting for review.
Inactive study
When the study is not active, the header still shows Action Needed, and the content explains that EDC data views are available for active studies only.
