EDC Workspace
Review captured visit or prescribed-medication data and work queries for one subject visit

[id] is the study record id on the study-scoped route. The site-scoped route uses the selected site and has no study id in the path. Open either route from explorer Open in workspace links (Field, Subject, or Visit Level). It is not listed as its own sidebar item.
A shorter workspace path that names only the submission type redirects to the full workspace URL above.
Purpose
This page is the EDC review surface for one subject visit or prescribed medication. Review captured field values, work queries on a field, and—when your permissions allow—mark fields reviewed or edit captured values.
What you can do
- See the subject identifier, visit title, and protocol subtitle
- Read open / answered / closed query counts; open closed queries from the closed count
- Mark all fields as reviewed or unreviewed when review is available
- Unlock field editing and change captured values when edit is available
- Browse the forms table of captured field values
- Select a field to work queries in the side panel (raise, reply, comment, resolve, or reopen per your permissions)

The workspace is available when the study is active and the visit (or prescribed medication) is visible for EDC. On the site-scoped route, choose a site first; without one, the page stays empty.
Permissions
Page access — Requires a signed-in user with access to the study or selected site, and View EDC Workspace. Without that permission, the page shows that access is denied.
Actions appear only for permissions granted on the account. These screens check the catalog names below.

Respond to Query | Allows replying to a query on a field. |

Edit EDC Field Values | Allows editing captured field values after unlocking field editing. |
Commenting on queries and marking fields reviewed are available on the review surface that can raise queries. They are not separate catalog permissions. Field editing and query replies are available on the capture surface.

Header
Shows {Subject ID} - {visit title} with the protocol subtitle. Actions include query count chips, Mark all as reviewed / Mark all as unreviewed when review is available, and a field-editing lock when edit is available. A validation status chip appears when validation is pending or in error.
Forms table
Captured fields organized by form. Select a field to drive the query panel, review status, and field editing.
Query panel
Side panel for the selected field’s queries—raise, reply, comment, resolve, or reopen according to your permissions. Closed queries can also be opened from the header closed count.
