View site and study-wide key contacts for the selected organization study site, and manage site key contacts

URL

  • /contacts — Contacts for the selected organization study site

Purpose

This page lists key contacts for the selected organization study site: site key contacts authored by site staff, and study-wide contacts authored by sponsor/CRO. Contacts are named people with a role, email, and optional phone and fax—not linked Labsuite users.

What you can do

  • Browse Site key contacts for this organization study site (name, role, email, phone, fax)
  • Browse Study-wide contacts for the research study (read-only here)
  • Add Contact to create a site key contact when you have permission and the study and site are active
  • Remove a site key contact from its card when writes are allowed
  • See a banner when site key contacts cannot be edited because the study or site is not active

Without a selected site, the app redirects away from this page.

Permissions

Page access — Requires a signed-in user with access to Site Portal for the organization (license). Choose a site in the site switcher; without a selected site, the app redirects to home. Viewing both contact lists does not require a dedicated contacts permission.

PermissionPurpose
Manage Site Key ContactsAllows adding and removing site key contacts when the research study and organization study site are active.

Without Manage Site Key Contacts, Add Contact and remove controls stay hidden. Study-wide contacts are always read-only on this page.

Adding and removing site key contacts also require the research study and organization study site to be active. When either is not active, a banner explains that edits are blocked and write actions stay hidden.

On this page

Title Contacts with a short description of site and study-wide contacts for this organization study site. When writes are allowed, Add Contact opens a dialog for name, email, role (preset or free text), and optional phone and fax. Site Principal Investigator and Lead Coordinator are singleton roles—only one of each may exist among site key contacts.

Blocked banner

Shown when the study or site is not active. Explains that site key contacts can only be edited while both are active.

Site key contacts

Cards for each site key contact with name, role, email, and optional phone and fax. Empty state: No site key contacts. With Manage Site Key Contacts and an active study/site, each card can remove that contact.

Study-wide contacts

Read-only cards for study key contacts from the research study. Empty state: No study-wide contacts. These cannot be added or removed from Site Portal.

No Site Portal task guides are published yet.
