Permission Sets
Create and manage named bundles of product-application permissions for your organization

Purpose
Permission Sets is where organization owners and admins define and manage named permission bundles for each licensed product application. Each permission set is assigned to members so they can perform specific actions inside that application. One member holds at most one permission set per product application.
What you can do
- See all permission sets defined for the organization and how many members hold each one
- Search permission sets by name
- Create a new permission set for a licensed product application, choosing which permissions to include
- Edit an existing permission set's name or its list of permissions
- Copy a permission set to quickly create a similar one
- Delete a permission set (with confirmation)
- View which members are currently assigned to each permission set
Permissions
Page access requires an organization owner or admin role. Organization members cannot access this page.
No catalog permission applies. Access is governed entirely by your organization role.

Header
Title Permission Sets with the description "Manage user access and permissions." A badge shows the current count of permission sets (for example, 4 sets). A search field filters the grid by set name.
Create Permission Set opens a dialog to define a new set. You choose:
- The licensed product application the set applies to
- A name for the set
- Which permissions from that application's catalog to include
Permission set grid
A responsive card grid (up to 4 columns on wide screens). Each card shows:
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The set's label. |
| Created date | When the set was first created. |
| Application badge | The product application this set belongs to (for example, Clinical Study Manager). |
| Member count badge | Number of members currently assigned this set. Click the badge to see a popover listing those members by name and email. |
| Edit | Opens a dialog to rename the set or change its included permissions. Only available to owners and admins. |
| Copy | Creates a duplicate set with the same application and permissions under a new name. |
| Delete | Removes the set after confirmation. |
When no permission sets exist (or none match the current search), the grid is replaced by a No permission sets found placeholder.
