- Enter a descriptive name for your new permission set (e.g., "Lab Manager Access", "Data Entry Clerk").
- (Optional) Provide a brief description of the permission set's purpose.
- Select the desired permissions by checking the corresponding checkboxes. Permissions are typically organized by application or feature.

Assigning a Permission Set to a User
There are two primary ways to assign a permission set to a user:
1. Assigning during Member Invitation
If you are inviting a new member, you can assign permission sets during the invitation process. Refer to the Invite and Assign Permissions guide for detailed steps.
2. Assigning to an Existing Member
- Navigate to the Hub application.
- In the left sidebar, click on Members. This will take you to the Members overview.
- Locate the member you wish to assign the permission set to. You can use the search bar or filter options to find them.
- Click on the member's name or the "..." (more options) icon next to their name and select Manage Permissions. This will open the "User Permissions" sheet.
- In the "User Permissions" sheet, you will see a list of available permission sets. Check the box next to the permission set(s) you want to assign to the user.
- Click Save Changes. The user will now have the permissions defined in the assigned set.
